Partner search from Province of Modena for CERV project:

The Province of Modena from Italy, is searching for partners for the CERV project: Supporting equal participation and representation of women and men in economic and political decision-making.

Province of Modena invites interested UBC member cities to take part in a project proposal under the CERV call CERV-2026-GE under Priority 3: Supporting equal participation and representation of women and men in economic and political decision-making.

The project idea builds on the recent experience of the Province of Modena in promoting a network of women local administrators, involving women active in municipal councils and local governments across the territory. Starting from this experience, the proposal aims to strengthen women’s participation in local political decision-making through training, peer exchange, mutual learning and the development of practical approaches to more inclusive local governance.

At this stage, the project is looking for partners with experience and interest in local governance, gender equality, capacity building and transnational exchange among public authorities and local networks.

Province of Modena is a local public authority in the Emilia-Romagna Region, in northern Italy, coordinating territorial planning and providing support and services to the municipalities across the province. It plays an important institutional role in local governance and has recently promoted a network of women local administrators to strengthen participation, exchange and inclusive decision-making.

Deadline for applications is 21 April 2026.
