As a Municipal Waterworks and Sewarage Company representative I dear to invite You to become a Partner in our upcoming project KOSZALIN CATCHES THE RAIN.
Shortly about the project
Our goal is to improve urban water retention by constructing reservoirs that will help protect center part of Koszalin from heavy rainfalls. To enhance the social impact of this project we are seeking an international partner who shares our commitment to ecological sustainability and community involvement. We are also pleased to inform that applying for EU co-financing, and the participation of our partner is included in project budget. We will cover costs of accommodation, food and activities in Koszalin for 6 – 8 people from Partner’s city for about 3 days.
How can You catch the rain with us?
As part of initiative, in 2026, we plan to organize a photography competition for young citizens of Koszalin and our Partner’s city. Same rules, same goal to achieve – CATCH THE RAIN FOR BETTER FUTURE. We will pick up our winners, Partner will do the same in his area, and then we will meet each other in Koszalin, Poland, to take part in ecological workshops – creating our own rain garden to be able to teach the others.
So once again – what would we like You to do?
Just organize online photography competition for children in age about 8-14 years old in your city. We will help with the rules. Choose three best photos which show how to catch the rain and save water in city habitat, and then come to Koszalin for three days with young winners and their teachers or parents. Be with us while eco-workshops and discover Koszalin.
