The Baltic Sea Awards 2026

UBC cities are invited to send nominations for the Baltic Sea Awards 2026.

The awards are presented annually to individuals or organisations that contribute to a healthier Baltic Sea and include both an honorary distinction and a monetary part.

The Baltic Sea Foundation (Östersjöfonden) has been recognizing individuals and organizations for outstanding contributions to the Baltic Sea’s environment for 36 years. By highlighting role models, we aim to show that individual efforts make a difference and inspire continued action. The awards also shed light on critical Baltic Sea issues and help influence decision-makers and public opinion.
