The new Baltic Cities Bulletin “Smart Development” is available!

The corona pandemic has made the central challenges for cities, regions and countries visible like in a burning glass. The modern city is globally connected and internationally dependent. Future crises are unexpected in their nature and extent and are no longer localized. Cities have a responsibility to ensure the protection of people, to offer regional identity and at the same time to enable the global mobility of people, ideas and goods.

In the new Baltic Cities Bulletin with the theme “Smart Development”, you can read about how the UBC member cities are coping with challenges brought by the pandemic, and how the civil servants and residents are together finding new ways to develop their cities and economies.

The Bulletin also contains the UBC and cities’ news, including news about UBC workshops concerning the EUSBSR.
