In June this year, the representatives of Gdańsk visited Ukraine, where they met representatives of local governments and municipal companies of Ukrainian cities, including the destroyed cities of Borodianka and Irpien. In Borodianka, the apartment blocks are badly damaged as well as the remaining city infrastructure, including pumping stations, water treatment stations, and waterworks. The sewage system suffered a lot from the bombing, but today it is even difficult to assess the scale of the damage. The waterworks in Borodianka have to deal with numerous blockages and problems in its operation on a daily basis, but they do not have their own specialist equipment. That is why we decided to help them and raise funds for the purchase of a multi-purpose septic tank truck, which will be used for the current removal of congestion and collection of sewage. The fundraising is run by the Gdańsk Foundation. We already have more than half of the sum. We encourage you to participate in the collection and help our friends from the waterworks in Borodianka.Link with account number: https://ukraina.gdanskpomaga.pl/gdansk-pomaga-ukrainskim-wodociagom/
