The large-format photographs show members of the artist’s family and house by the river, and they inevitably suggest a search for connections between nature, people and the events that surround them: “Here was an apple tree that withered, and now there is only a stump left over. But there is now an elder tree in its place, which is magnificent when in bloom. Something has been lost, but in its place something new always blooms. And everything is connected.”
