It is for the fourth time that we have the pleaseure to invite you to submit your nomination to the Mayor Paweł Adamowicz Award (MPAA). The Award was established jointly by the European Committee of the Regions (CoR), the International Cities of Refuge Network (ICORN) and the City of Gdańsk. The Award is granted for courage and excellence in the promotion of freedom, solidarity and equality – the values that late mayor Adamowicz cherished.
This is the fourth edition of the Award. The first laureate of the MPAA was the Lord Mayor of Cologne, Henriette Reker. The laureate of the second edition was the City of Michałowo, Poland. Last year our laureate was LDA Zavidovicci – Local Democracy Agency from Bosnia and Hercegovina.

Please note that there is a significant change to the MPAA Rules and Regulation which allows national associations of local and regional authorities to submit their nominations.
