Sustainable Cities Commission meeting and the Baltic Active Mobility 2026 conference

Baltic Active Mobility Conference and UBC Sustainable Cities Commission Meeting!
The event week will start with the UBC Sustainable Cities Commission meeting on 7 September 2026. Focusing on active mobility and wider sustainability topics, the meeting offers UBC member cities and other interested municipalities & organisations the opportunity to exchange perspectives, shape joint priorities, and influence the future work of the Commission.
On 8-9 September the Baltic Active Mobility Conference will bring together practitioners, experts and decision makers at local, regional and national levels to Gdynia, Poland. Together we will explore how active mobility and strong Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) can shape healthier, more resilient and future-ready cities.
The event is organised by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region projects SUMPs for BSR and BATS, supporting cities in accelerating the transition towards active and sustainable urban mobility in cooperation with UBC Sustainable Cities Commission.
The conference will combine strategic debate with practical exchange and peer learning, creating space for both political dialogue and hands-on insights. Attached are the full agenda and info package. Participation is free of charge.
