The motto of the 77th Greifswald Bach Week was “BACH moves”. The focus of the morning music and concerts are works by Johann Sebastian Bach and other composers, who tell of how faith and music set people in motion – and make you dance. The cathedral choir will perform Handel’s oratorio of the Exodus from Egypt, Bach and breakdance will be brought together in the performance “Flying Bach”, “Sing & Sign” translates music into sign language and “Bach & Tanz” tests the choreographic potential of Bach cantatas.
