In 2024, Elias Xie was one of the finalists for the Polstjärne Prize – Sweden’s largest competition in classical music for young people between the ages of 14 – 18. Elias received a second position as a soloist in the relatively rarely played Piano Concerto No. 1 by Sergei Rachmaninov.
