FURBSR project meeting in Ystad

FURBSR Project meeting
Foresight on Future Urban Risks in the Baltic Sea Region (FURBSR) project meeting and study visit will take place on 24-26 March 2026 in Ystad.
A new project, led by the City of Ystad together with the Nordic Urban Resilience Institute (NURI), aims to bring foresight down to the local level—helping cities identify emerging challenges, develop strategic responses, and share insights across the region. By integrating local foresight efforts, the project seeks to create a shared approach and strengthen regional collaboration toward a more resilient and sustainable future.
The UBC takes the role of the project hosting partner and provides a platform to ensure long-term knowledge-sharing and integration into policy recommendations at local, national and EU level.
Partners:
Cities: Gdańsk, Klaipeda, Riga, Talinn, Umeå
Project Lead: Ystad Municipality
