UBC TALKS about risk and resilience: Who is overlooked in climate adaptation?

The UBC TALKS webinar “From risk to resilience: Who is overlooked in climate adaptation?” will take place on 26 May 2026, 10:30-12:00 EEST/09:30-11:30 CEST.
Cities need to increase their climate resilience with adaptation measures that serve the whole society – but how to make sure that no one is overlooked in the process? And how to ensure inclusive approach especially if a city has limited resources? At the webinar on 26 May 2026, we discuss how to enable local communities and especially vulnerable groups to act in case of a crisis.
You will hear about different methods to increasing citizen awareness and understanding of climate risks and actions, and learn how to enable citizens to take active part in the planning.
