Youthful Cities Commission meeting, Gdańsk
UBC Youthful Cities Commission warmly welcomes youth policy officers, youth workers and youth leaders from UBC member cities to its face-to-face meeting that will take place on 19th – 22nd March in Gdansk, Poland.
During the General Conference of the UBC that took place in Palanga last year, the idea of founding the UBC Youth Board was voiced for the first time. During this meeting, we will explore experience of UBC’s sister organisations and discuss possible models for ensuring continuous youth participation in the UBC structure. We will also continue discussions related to development of quality structures within the Commission that support mutual learning and cooperation between the cities, and, of course, explore what the city of Gdańsk has to offer.
Two full working days are planned on 20th – 21st March. As usual, we encourage the city officials to bring a youth representative with them to the Commission’s events.
